love the song, excited to hear more.

 

That was boring. Buddy writes some of the worst lyrics sometimes (but, he's also written some pretty great lyrics.)

Not amazing but pretty great.

 

That was sort of the intent for this.

Love that this really does sound like early 2000s Senses Fail and Finch so much!

 

Sounds like a Saves The Day song with double bass

 

Better than the last Finch record, and just as good as the last two SF albums, just different sound (obviously).

 

Shows potential for a great throwback band. The choppy chorus is the only thing holding me back from loving it

 

I don't know about this. That video was pretty awful at times haha.

I love parts of this song (the chorus gets stuck in my head for sure) but cringe at other parts. I'm definitely interested to hear the whole thing. It's either going to be cool or one of the cases of "be careful what you wish for".

 

Loved the song. Video reminds me of those low budget videos from bands like Spitalfield back in the day

Yeesh, I love pop punky SF and Finch but this is a HARD downgrade from both those.

 

Or maybe they'll just have a touring bassist?

 

I love senses fail but I wasn't impressed. We'll see what the full length is like

 

kind of surprised Buddy would regress back to this after the direction he moved SF in the last few years.

 

also, good to see Sawyer from Lost found employment once back in the real world.

 

It was overwhelmingly okay ;-; it could grow on me though...
