I missed seeing them in Chicago because I had too much going on around then so idk if this was just a one time thing or not (seems like it based on the posts on here) but I saw a post that Dylan went on a big rant yesterday on stage and was very agitated and then apologized but I can’t find the post anymore. Was anyone there and possibly has more insight? I’m just curious what happened.
I have no idea what you are referring to, but would be interested in hearing more? What was the rant about?
I think it had something to do with the audio/sound of that performance, but the post appears to have been deleted.
From what I can see - they had some sound issues, got frustrated, and apologized. Some FB/Reddit threads blew it out of proportion.
That sounds about right. The thread I saw made it sound like a way bigger issue than it probably was, because people love blowing things out of proportion lol
Small crowd tonight but it was a blast. They were in a real goof around mode with it being the last show of the tour. Played both Buffalo Buffalo and Beer & NyQuil
Was excited to see Alkaline Trio coming to CT and then got even more excited to see Spanish Love Songs as support. That's amazing!
Threw this album on for the first time in a while since it's almost on 1 year, and this has no business being as good as it is. It's absolutely huge, and feels larger than life, like they're screaming and partying into an endless void. think this is going to be an all timer for me EDIT: Re-emerging Signs of the Apocalypse deserves a callout for being a barnburner
