I got my record player and speakers set up in my house and it's really nice to finally be able to give my vinyl copy a spin.

 

Did anyone else who preordered the record get a signed postcard in the mail?

you a patreon member or nah? because this is the first time ive gotten a nice lil thank you for preordering, but idk if it was for patreon members or just everyone. (i did not preorder the patreon variant)

 

I’m a member but also didn’t order the Patreon variant. I actually just looked in the Discord and they said people who ordered the first Pure Noise variant got the postcard.

 

I never got a postcard.

 

I’m at the point where I’m pretty confident this is going to end up as a top 5 record of 2023 for me

there’s always an album every year that was not even close to being on my radar that ends up making such a large impact on me. This is that record this year

 

So far this album has been hard to get into surprisingly. Haunted set the bar so high for me. It's probably been my top played song this year so far. But now that it's getting colder out, it's really starting to sink in.

 

I am going to be absolutely insufferable when they headline next and play "Pendulum"

Yeah this album continues to astound me.

 

I haven’t spent much time with it. Zach Bryan over shadowed it when it came out.

 

Same. And I didn't even know who Zach Bryan was. I listened to No Joy nonstop for about 5-6 days and haven't listened to it since because I've been listening to 8-million ZB songs, plus I saw CAKE and Gaslight Anthem last week - so I had to catch up on those catalogs and now Petey and Slaughter Beach, Dog are out AND another ZB EP.

That said, looking forward to going back to No Joy soon.

 

I’m sad.

This album has NOT stuck with me. Blame a loaded release calendar or something but it’s just not hitting like BFE did. Almost nothing could though, so that’s an impossible ask.

Hoping that seeing them love kicks this back into rotation for me.

 

I don't like it as much as Brave Faces Everyone, but it's definitely grown on me a lot over the past few months.

 

Yeah still haven’t returned to this, I like it a lot but just never reach for it when I’m listening to music.

 

Album is officially a miss for me. Not going back to it at all. Was my most anticipated for this year :(

 

I need to spend more time with the back half of this, but the top is so so damn good.
