Really hope it’s new music and not a cover

 

Yeah the Twitter account (I assume it’s Dylan) posted something about taking new promo pics recently

 

Not to pour cold water, but there's two more songs to come out from the Doom & Gloom sessions (Portions for Foxes / Now It's On) and the EP comes out later this month, so I would guess it's for a cover (my guess is Smile Like You Mean It)

 

About damn time this band released new music

 

I would be very, very, very surprised if they wasted funds to shoot a music video on a cover.

 

I'm so excited to see SLS again :')

 

Also it's not on the tweet but the Facebook post says "Who knows, maybe we’ll be playing some new stuff?"

EDIT: also Portions for Foxes cover is up

 

Ohhhhhh would I love for this album to get announced any day!

Supporting a band called Hot Mulligan in the UK - Might have to go just to see SLS

 

Hot Mulligan is very good, hadn’t really heard anything by them before I saw them with The Wonder Years a few months back, they were great

 

Drop everything you're doing and start listening to Hot Mulligan.

 

They have new album out tomorrow so it’d be a good time to try them out!

 

At least give Hot Mulligan some time. I know many people who were iffy on the vocals who later came around and now love them lol. I didn't know them pre Wonder Years tour and damn were they excellent live.

 

I am prone to hyperbole myself, but the idea a record could be both so good and “their best work, not even close” compared to BFE is staggering, if not impossible. It might be one of the five best records I have heard in the last decade. I would settle comfortably for the follow-up being just as good. That it’s (perhaps) even better is hard to comprehend.

 

On my first listen I would say that i'm a bit iffy on the vocals (Don't really see why he has to scream every other word) but will be listening to their new album today

 

*gasp*

That’s gotta mean album pretty soon right??
