the moonset looked cool too and it was super dark afterwards. Unfortunately it didn't set until 1:30. I got the times from Thursday mixed up haha.
I've been told you can see meteors damn near every night if the sky is dark enough and you're patient. There might not be as many as a shower peak, but you still get to see the stars which is amazing. And I rarely use that word. I'm sure you'll see more than a few, @coleslawed
Ya I lived in az when I was younger where there wasn't much light pollution and you could sit outside and count dozens every night
Yeah that's dope! There's site you can take high res images and put them on canvas/frame them for decorations. @Jason Tate mentioned them in the q and a thread.
How long until we find out that Mars had oceans and cities before it dried up. I won't put a question mark at the end of that sentence because it wasn't meant to be taken seriously.
I've always been pretty sure that Earth will eventually end up like these other planets. I'm stuck on the fact that I really think there were cities, maybe not exactly humans, water, etc.
I was thinking one time that Venus would end up like Earth, Earth like Mars, and so on down the line. Science will probably laugh at that, but I thought it was interesting.
