I did not like this movie but I'm hopeful it gives the youths more inclanation to watch one of the funniest trilogies of all time in Austin Powers
Isn’t this supposed to be a movie for children? Virtually all of the film references in the clips I’ve been seeing are not things young kids would get. Kids movies always have some jokes/lines that are meant more to appeal to adults, but this is just weird gratuitous nostalgia
So does the oceans trilogy not exist in the universe of this movie alongside all the other Warner Bros properties, does it exist and someone else played Basher, or does LeBron just not know who Don Cheadle is?
It is just a commercial for all of their other movies and franchises. They should have paused the scenes and had captions that reminded someone that the film is also available on HBO Max.
to be fair, I remember watching Looney Tunes and iirc, they would make a lot of jokes that were references to movies/things kids wouldn’t know. Like, I’m pretty sure I know some opera songs thanks to LooneyTunes lol
It must have been painful for Lola and Bugs to have their tail outside their shorts, using a hair tie around your ears Lil Rel and Don Cheadle understood the assignment, LeBron was a dick haha why did LeBron throw the game boy away, that was his friend's and that shit costs money So og was canonical as a movie and event lol The ip should have at least been used, Scooby-Doo can dunk he's my friend, and I don't think a single reference landed Mc hammer for real I want to play Dom ball

If Warner Bros was cool they make a shot where it shows every movie used in the background and make that a collection on HBO Max
