this and dryjacket are the best of 2017 for me so far.

 

I really love the vocal melodies on this one. Brings it right back to the era of catchy yet dark indie-pop a la Photo Album-era Death Cab

The replay value on this one is high

 

yes indeed. i tapered since i listened to it alot in the first few weeks but still some great tracks on here. float, roman candle and the closer are awesome.. the guitar on the closer is especially pleasing to me

 

like this a lot more than the last record.
Seems like it has a bit more of a purpose. Really starting to get into it

 

I'm hearing the Death Cab comparison. Reminds me a lot of Search/Rescue, that ex-GAD/Acceptance project, or a more upbeat Copeland

bend and break is prob my favorite so far

 

so, like, this is my first time listening to this and proof legit sounds like an all the day holiday song. this is dope

In retrospect, this probably was my favorite album from last year. It soundtracked a lot of lasts for me and I’m reminded of that every time I listen to it

Relistened to this today. "You Affect Me" is so fucking good. I hope they release something new soon.
