Clyde being Charlie Kirk had me rolling. Solid episode. Definitely took down Noem. Agreed it seemed they ran out of time with rushed ending.
The fact that the administration has publicaly reacted to both episodes so far shows they're doing it right, haha
For some reason the funniest part was the constant drinking of water during the "debate me" scenes Another great one, the Vance characterization is great
Still find it funny that Noem only reacted to her issues with the botox portrayal, and not that she murdered tons of dogs, lol
‘South Park’ Skipping Another Week Amid Controversy, Record Ratings 'South Park': Is There a New Episode Tonight?
Recently saw an interview with Matt Stone about the future of AI and he was kissing the new owner of Paramount's ass. Was surprised to see that.
If you are talking about the bloomberg interview, to be fair that was 10 months ago when the deal wasn't done yet and it was more so a laugh of "wont be making fun of him he's safe for now" and then yea, things have changed with the vibes since then considering they threatened legal action and then this season lol
Ohh I thought it was new, I didn't realize that. Autoplayed on my TV last night, so I just left it going
I think they are gonna continue to do this. Once Digman wraps up season 2, South Park will next be used as a lead-in for new Beavis and Butt-Head
On Comedy Centrals schedule it still says there’s a new one tomorrow. But god only knows what’s going on at South Park studios right now
wow i haven't watched this show in a minute but honestly thought these two episodes were kinda fire. love the serialization. are there other seasons from the past 10-15 years (jfc) that are this quality? I guess i stopped watching probably around season 12 or 13
Honestly it’s worth going back and just picking up where you left off. There’s gold in pretty much every season and it can be fun to take a trip down pop culture memory lane. I’d skip season 20 altogether though, that one is pretty bad (they tried to serialize a story about Hillary winning the election in 2016 and it backfired badly obviously)
Oh man if you didn't watch Season 13 you're missing out. Looking at the list of episodes from that season, I think every single one was anywhere from decent to top tier South Park. 14-16 as well. Honestly the more I scroll down this list, the more I just wanna say yeah all the seasons are pretty great. It really only takes somewhat of a dive for me once Trump becomes President and they kinda struggle with how to approach it. Some of the specials were great though and there are still gem episodes in the Trump years. This season it seems they've decided to just be over the top in ridicule for Trump admin and it definitely works a lot better than what they were doing in his first term and during the Biden years, IMO
They are very talented so there is funny stuff in every season but so much of the headline-of-the-week episodes haven't aged well at all.
