New episode was pretty much setup for the game but I still really enjoyed it. The Zuckerberg stuff was incredibly strange (I'm not sure if there's a reference I was missing?) but it still made me laugh, and I always love when it just centers on the kids
This was my favorite episode of the year bar none. The zuckerberg stuff was hilarious...probsbly the first time I south park cracked up all year. Funny voice, simple message, and a bunch if small jokes too. Cartmans reaction everytime his gf comes in is becoming a great gag.
"sssiiiigggghhhhhh. Nothing babe....Just wearing a sweet customer and trying to fight crime." and then immediately pops back up to full speed when she leaves.
what's your schtoyle? very throwback SP imo it did take a while for me to realize the bad voiceover was intentional
I don't ask for much with south park so the fact that I can say "what's your schtoyle" is already a win
My favorite parts of SP have always been when they use the adults of the town as dumb society and the kids as logic. The part of last episode where the adults are complaining about Zuckerberg being in town and then the cop asked who invited him and wanted him there was great. I took the message as people who complain about Facebook and the baggage of social media, but then still choose to use it on their own free will.
Does anyone know the reference? It was like video game..bad Asian dubbing... like it made me laugh but I'm curious
I’m with you guys on not quite understanding the zuckerberg gag but finding it extremely amusing haha
Zuckerberg and the kids making those superhero noises was my favorite part of the episode. So absurd hahaha All the Zuckerberg parts were very old school feeling to me
He was supposed to be like the villain in a poorly-dubbed martial arts film. Still fully trying to grasp how that ties into him being a spineless shill who doesn't do anything about actual harassment and lies on his platform, but it was funny nonetheless.
Ah, of course. On Wisecrack's South Park recap podcast they said he's being portrayed as a "PR Kung-Fu master." Now it all makes sense. I like their shtoyle.
Last night's was so good. The extra song from Killer Mike was great and, as I was watching, I knew Marcus' voice had to be Josh Gad. Another one really reminding me of the old days. The barbershop quartet was one of the funniest things on the show in awhile too.
I feel like this ep was a return to form for the series. Was completely stand alone and just the kids getting into a crazy adventure. My favorite of the season so far.
LOVED hearing Killer Mike. Didn't find the episode very funny, but thought the premise was pretty important.
Eh I enjoyed the randomness of it but I didn't find myself laughing like I did last week or tweeks episode. Good throw back though I think the Marcus character fell flat for me
Yeah I more enjoyed the story and characters than the actual humor but I'm loving how this season is more old fashioned so far
Yeah barring the 1st episode, which I'm just gonna chalk up as a fluke, this season has been great so far.
It felt like they were setting him up for so much more. They so often stick to the well-established kid characters that it felt off.
