If they're as radical as they think they are, the entire episode should be some form of activism or protest.
I was expecting that they'd have Garrison win regardless of the actual results; their Hillary stuff has always been pretty meh IMO. But now having Garrison win isn't as funny.
Their Mr. Garrison as Trump avatar choice was flawed because Mr. Garrison is tied to their existing character, he's not a perfect parallel and in order to remain Mr. Garrison has to remain close to his character, so he's inherently restrained. I hope they prove me wrong but this is not a show to expect anything biting or noteworthy from. I am an episode or two behind though.
So, it looks like most of the plot is kept in tact, just adding a new plot of reactions to Garrison, seemingly all with the sarcasm in the preview video
I loved the new star wars!!!! I heard they rewrote the ep last minute believing Clinton would win. I wonder what they changed? The ep before it showed the member berry dropping into Caitlyn's drink so it's hard to imagine it wasn't meant to turn out that way...
The opening scene was perfect. It was just like my election night viewing party, minus the guy shooting himself. Also, a well-timed Rick Roll is still funny.
The rickroll was great. But this episode just has me disliking the "continuitization" of the show even more. At least last season, episodes had fairly contained stories (Tweek/Craig, Whole Foods), now it just feels like everything is building towards a single joke that will (probably) fall flat
I never watched the later seasons of the show more than once, but this feels like the worst season of all. Hopefully the reason is the working on the video game and not something permanent.
Epic season. might not be the funniest but I'm loving the epic feeling of it all. I still laugh everytime cartman forces himself to say something positive about women comedy. "I seriously lose my shit everytime Amy Schumer talks about her vagina"
Pretty spot on description of how I feel as well. Feeling this season less than last year, which I actually enjoyed a good amount.
The last game was more funny than the more recent seasons. The game itself was so long though I felt like I had experienced a whole new season of South Park. I cannot wait for the new one.
This episode had some nice bits but was overall a weaker episode than usual. Not going to blame them though considering they basically had a couple hours to rewrite the episode.
I gotta give this show a ton of credit for attempting what they're attempting this season. they're trying to do a "gripping season" with some sort of ending in mind while still incorporating weekly news events... I mean Jesus that's hard!
