Didn't realize this was so soon. Why did Pixar release two movies back to back??

 

Hell yeah this looks awesome.

 

Art style of the scenes of the afterlife give me strong World of Tomorrow vibes

 

Not the first time Pixar's done two in a year.

2015 had Inside Out and The Good Dinosaur, 2017 had Cars 3 and Coco, and 2022 is supposed to have two that year.

Unmentioned asterisk of course is the possibility of Soul getting pushed back, ditto whatever movies were under production prior to this pandemic.

 

Bond and Pixar on the same day is brutal.

though soul and GvK have the same day..

To be honest, I'd pay $30 for it at home...

 

Pretty much a guarantee this gets the same treatment Mulan got at this point

Well I'm sure that will be a wonderful film to watch on Christmas.

 

it also probably would've been an incredible film to see on the big screen, but i guess that was out of the question...

 

i'm assuming this was decided following the regal theaters closing

whatever, hope there's no additional charge beyond the usual monthly d+ payments

 

Onward didn't, but Mulan did. So who knows?
