Not sure how I’m gonna be able to listen to listen to the recorded version of this after their full album set. One of the best performances I’ve ever seen
Not really into the band or this record but the first two songs impressed me live. Kind of lost me after that but I was glad to see so many people enjoying it.
This just hasn't stuck with me at all. One of those records I tend to avoid listening to because of the subject matter (see also: every PBTT record, Julien Baker record, last Touche Amore record etc.)
this is very cool, but i really wish bands would do more than the one Leonard Cohen song all the time, the man has so many classics
Possibly. I didnt say I disliked it, just that I wasnt "into it"....it didnt super grab me or anything. I liked "leave the fan on" and some of the other stuff on that album but overall the album just wasn't enough of a leap forward(for me). They didn't evolve their sound, or as a band, as much as I wanted them to after "Joy, Departed". I think they have a masterpiece album in them but I don't think they've made it yet. So I'm excited to hear this album reimagined....maybe it'll click more for me.
Yeah swear I saw it was like mid-March. Either way, this is such an awesome surprise, No Halo is blowing my mind
