I'm not really sure what my kind of record is. But I like a fair amount of stuff from this wave of emo.
I really didn't expect to like this record this much. I loved Joy, Departed when it came out but I've barely come back to it at all so I figured this one wouldn't do much for me. Glad to be wrong!
This album is easily the biggest surprise I'd had with an album this year... Other than liking their first album a bit when it first came out(i think it's pretty meh now) I've never been into this band much, but I'm in love with this album at the moment.
Just gave this my first listen and I'm into it. Wasn't much a fan of Joy, Departed, but this one is solid. Looking forward to giving it another listen soon. No Halo knocked me on my ass.
I thought that was decent enough at first having never been a fan of earlier work Repeat listens have me hooked
damn guess i should listen. i thought their debut was ok, inoffensive listening but haven't listened to a thing since. the album title annoys me too. will give it a bash.
Yeah... still amazing. This album and Remo Drive's Greatest Hits are making me happy for upcoming emo indie bands right now.
The only moment I don't love is the spoken word part of portrait. I really really can't believe how good this is
Lol that really may be my favorite part of he record. The lead guitar there and the way the band crescendos is so beautifully done
Do I go see sorority noise, tigers jaw, or petal? I've been cutting down on the amount of shows I go to unfortunately
