Will be going to the Lakewood/Cleveland show for sure. Pinegrove, Pup, and Sorority Noise all in the same week at Mahalls. Good thing I live 5 minutes away
Yeah this is definitely an insane week in Cleveland haha (Bayside/SA too) Wish Walter Etc/Sinai Vessel were on the whole tour. Mat's show at Mahalls at the beginning of the year was solid though so this will be cool.
only one, maybe two of the legs (not 100% sure about walter's lineup) have any women on it. especially after what happened when the mobo tour was announced i'm disappointed that there isn't one on the whole tour. i understand that perhaps they tried, and it's hard to book a tour last minute, but still i can be disappointed
Eh, I'll be on the other side of the country on the Cleveland date. I'll see Sorority Noise and the Obsessives at some point this year.
It's no Kevin Devine, but Mat Kerekes isn't a bad replacement. Just glad I'll get to see Sorority Noise.
didn't know about mat, didn't even know he had a band, haha. good to hear at least, and i take back part of what i said (though i still expect there to be a woman on every show for the rest of history)
Yeah, it's pretty nice. Patchwork's a newer thing and the 13th is the only date with a lot of nationally touring acts. CGMF's changing their festival up heavily this year, sadly, so it's going to be mostly country and butt-rock stuff.
Ugh, another May tour...I want to swing this but probably won't decide until closer to the date to see if there is a Cavs playoff game that night or not. I'm doing the same thing with the Bayside show that week. Also, I LOVE Mahall's!
After skipping Joyce Manor/The Hotelier, The Wonder Years fall tour, and the 1975 at Kent to watch the Indians lose the world series I can't let our sports team dictate my concerts anymore haha
It's tough being in a winning town now, haha. I'm already going to miss a few games in the 1st round due to Thursday, Chris Rock and a few late night work meetings in late April. I may just purchase a ticket Friday since it's only $16 or so and then figure it out later. I'd actually assume this sells out, no?
Patchwork has an announcement for Monday, and it seems like Mat and The Obsessives should get added to the festival.
Definitely hitting up the NC date. Have to get in all the concerts I can since we are moving to Boise in June and it doesn't appear that many acts roll through there as I'm used to here.
