I'll never forget the first time I heard her music through that one ap.net thread in fall 2013. I can still recall that night like it was yesterday. A game changer. She was such a huge inspiration for me, both as a musician, and for the trans woman I've come out as since. RIP

Damn. Was never a massive fan, but enjoyed some of her stuff. And there is no denying the impact she had on electronic music in the past 5 years or so. RIP.

This is not news I wanted to wake up to. I don’t even know what to say... RIP SOPHIE.

An artist that I truly feel like changed something in me, like when I first heard her production, it hit me in a way unlike anything before... truly blew my mind. This is terrible...
