The thing is, this movie is gonna suck regardless and the shitty design is just the cherry on top. I like the trash fire design. Embrace the awful.

 

I saw a YouTuber make a response to the dude who said they are going to fix sonic. The YouTuber was like hell yeah lets gamers unite to fix more things and please no let it end with sonic.

Criticize the system that produces YouTubers and allows them to thrive all you want (and it’s definitely worth criticizing) but like I don’t understand what Mundy’s point is with that tweet. You could literally make a similar kind of tweet for every major pop culture announcement, good or bad, of the last several years. Are those people not supposed to make a reaction video to the Sonic trailer if that’s what their audiences want to see? Just because, in hindsight, the negative response caused the filmmaker to get self-conscious and want to change the design? That’s certainly not their fault. I don’t get it.
