Wow, it does look a lot better now. I take back what I said earlier about the redesign still not looking very good, it looks way better in action than it did in the leaked pic.

 

RIP teethy Sonic, we hardly knew ye

 

oh my god it looks even cheesier than before I love it

 

Design looks way better, and even ignoring that, this trailer is way better than the first

 

This change, and the last trailer, is enough to make me wanna see it. The reveal of Sonic speaking to a human definitely reminded me of the same narrative in Detective Pikachu though.

question is, is it the kids or adults seeing this en masse

 

I was never a sonic fan but just going by the list of sonic-related games on Wikipedia, there’s been 12 games released in just the past ten years, so I’d imagine there’s a sizable market of kids/young people now who grew up on the franchise like adults had in the 90s... it’s just a matter if both age groups actively want to see a full-length movie about him.

I think I might actually see Fantasy Island lol
