Even the design of Sonic isn't going to fix this movie, guys, let's be real.

Why do you think that? Looks pretty accurate to me aside from having blue arms in instead of tan

 

It's really hard to care about this movie, which looks bad in that barely-human-executives-in-a-board-room-mathematically kinda way, when the bafflingly audacious Cats movie exists.

But, hey, if making the design more faithful causes about a dozen more people to enjoy this, good for them. I hope those poor animators don't feel like they've wasted their time (& lives).

 

So I guess we are doubting JIM CARREY NOW!? wow guys, wow.

This was always going to be terrible because it was just a cash grab after the hype for detective Pikachu

 

i think this was in development before that tho

 

It's a definite improvement but still looks terrible. Sonic just does not work in live-action no matter what.

 

Let's be real... This movie was going to suck from the very beginning. Character design updates or not. No way this is going to be good.

 

Jim Carrey will make it enjoyable at the very least, but I agree.

 

Can’t wait till this wins an Oscar
