Terrence Malick's 'Weightless' Receives Runtime, Cast List, and BBFC Rating

It has been rated in Britain which is a sign that the final cut is done. Along with Voyage of Time, could it be three Malicks in one year?

 

Would be weird for this to get dropped anywhere without festival premiere but let's see. This is the project I've been most interested in.

I did not realize that Voyage of Time was confirmed for October, and it is two versions with different narration. As exciting as all of this is, he filmed all of this work in a short burst of time and there has been no news of anything filmed since, so we might see another drought.

 

still haven't seen Knight of Cups but I'm pretty excited about this

I hadn't heard of this getting a title. Will absolutely be in attendance whenever I can be, I feel like Knight of Cups and To the Wonder got strange, staggered releases, even at the usual art theaters I can catch his stuff at.

 

The video-on-demand release for To The Wonder derailed that one.

I've been rewatching every Malick film to start off the new year, obviously excited for a new one in a couple months.

 

And he has another film coming next year? Who does he think he is, Woody Allen?

 

When Gosling was on Kimmel a few weeks ago, he said he filmed all of his parts for this film back in 2012 and had no idea if/when it'd be released and didn't even really know what the film was about.

I've been very curious about this film for the past 3 or 4 years considering the cast is fantastic but I have my doubts about this.

 

Actors not knowing a lot about the film they're in isn't unusual for Terrence Malick

 

pretty par for the course, actually.
