i'm happy i'm finally coming around to this album. still prefer the first one but i do like the atmosphere they create on this. eternal yesterday is super good tho! it's already in my top 3 from this band, with streets upon streets and lives of others () being the other two.

 

Both songs from the split are now on their Bandcamp

they're calling it an "extended hiatus"
their guitarist recently moved to CA for grad school, i know Michael got a job at a school too.

this sucks, i was so interested in where they were gonna go from FDB

 

More upset by this than most breakups in recent memory

 

Yeah it sucks when a band you've loved for a while breaks up, but it also really sucks when a young band breaks up before they can reach their potential

Took a strange turn

 

I saw them 4 times since the beginning of 2015. Glad I was able to see them so much. They were great live.

 

this isn't that surprising based on how much their dork fanbase didn't like the new record then had the drummer changing situation

 

Or, perhaps, people are surprised because they recently put out a new 7" and were demoing new material

 

eternal yesterday was soooo good as was their live shows. this is a huge bummer

 

also makes sense why they dropped the Lydia tour, forgot that

 

seems like a "hey this band makes no money so we're gonna get degrees real quick and come back" kind of hiatus
