I have Marvel movie jokes I wanna make. Heh.

 

Tarkin didn’t really bother me. I can’t explain it. It just worked for me. It wasn’t a distraction for me, Leia took me out of the moment. Luckily it was literally the final moment.

 

I think the main issue with this "bombing" is how out of control the budget/marketing costs got

 

I don’t like most Marvel movies... but I like Dr. Strange the very least of them all. I hate that movie

 

Since Ant Man is being talked about, that whole movie left me thirsting to see what Edgar Wright would have done. Literally the whole movie i kept thinking about it. With Solo I didn’t think once about what Lord and Miller’s version would have been like.

I just find it unrealistic how Han shot Beckett knowing that Han would never shoot first only when being shot at from in the original trilogy.

 

Super unlikeable hero, bad special effects, Tilda Swinton miscast, incomprehensible action to name a few.

 

I have a feeling I’ll need @Jason Tate to back me up on the CGI in that movie... cause it’s bad.

It’s not good when ‘Inception’ did it better 6 years before. Heh. But yeah the rotoscoping was meh. Tilda and introducing this level of power into the world I had more issues with than the CG. Didn’t like how they were shot either.

To be honest, there wasn’t enough shots in the movie where they digitally moved Han just a bit when getting shot at. Alden did it all practically, it’s bull shit.

alden would do this smile thing which looked creeperish when it was supposed to look charming, but i knew what he was going for and he tried it was just his faace.
