Honestly, in all seriousness Lando would’ve actually been a great character for a prequel movie. Like, instead of Solo.

 

Yep. Tertiary characters can capitalize on a prequel's potential, since we know so little about them. The expectations gap is minimized.

It was a fake Star Wars news website and frankly I was so filled with joy and excitement all logical impulse to check the website/source was shut off. I also didn’t read the whole thing. I saw a “spoiler section” and didn’t read it until now which I probably should have cuz that gave it away lol

I’m a gullible dude and I probably should be embarrassed but Therm has that effect on me ya know? I came straight here to spread the great news so we can share in the euphoria.

P.S. This is the second time I’ve been duped in the last like 2 weeks. Primavera had me believe Kawhi Leonard was playing in the playoffs with a tweet posted from last season. Now this.

I think I need to learn to be more cynical. Or just smarter.

man I don't care what anyone says I'm gonna have fun with this

 

Realizing there is a Star Wars movie less than a month away has definitely raised my excitement.

 

weeks before a SW got me outta cryosleep like

 

I finally saw the trailer before seeing Infinity War and it wasn't as bad as I expected it to be.

 

I still maintain that this probably won't be bad, and that I don't mind literally any iconic role ever getting recast. I'm just not sold on this being the best choice for a "Star Wars story" based on pre-established characters.

But, everything I've seen for this looks fun. So whatever. We'll see.

 

I'm pretty much with you at this point. It isn't taking a 'Star Wars story' in an interesting direction but it'll probably be entertaining.

 

if we get to see a bit of some gangster underworld stuff like some promo thing I read said, then Ill enjoy that

 

Maybe I'm just getting used to him, but Alden seemed more like Han in the featurette clips.
