Not really.

And it’s an okay book. I never liked the Xizor stuff so it was never my favorite book.

 

I am so excited for this. It looks so fun and good. Not every Star Wars movie needs to have galaxy-wide implications.

 

Also I think it bears repeating that Lawrence Kasdan, who wrote all your favorite lines from A New Hope, wrote this movie with his son who grew up on SW Canon. I'm looking forward to all the references. Also, please that be Chewie hugging Malla. It should be really great. I also have to say that whoever decided to finally put guitars in Star Wars music is a genius.

 

Not to be That Guy but he wrote ESB and RotJ, not ANH. But your point stands.

 

He didn't write all my favorite Star Wars lines. Actors and directors changed some of his lines. Harrison Ford's "I know" was an ad-lib. Kasdan has also written some shitty movies.

This will be a silly, stupid movie. That doesn't mean it won't be good, but forgive me for being trepidatious about a movie with a production as tortured as this one, where directorial control was shifted from a duo responsible for of three of my favorite movies ever and a brilliant animated series to the director of In the Heart of the Sea and the Dilemma.

Off hand I don’t know the lengths, but before TLJ, AOTC was the longest. Pretty sure TFA is a tad longer than that.

I think he’s referring to the gap at the front being closed. Probably something to do with hauling freight.

 

Not sure if it’s been discussed here or not. Most people are saying it’s likely a storage pod, whether that’s been confirmed or not I’m not totally sure.

 

I’m just not seeing it.
