There’s so much you could do with a game of thrones production quality tv series. Like could you imagine??
I think the full trailer is a lot better than the teaser and that Lando poster is going on my wall as soon as possible. While I’m still not super sold on this movie or Alden, I’m such a big fan of the franchise, they have my money regardless as shown by me buying a Solo logo shirt at Disney World this weekend. They could honestly announce Jar Jar: A Star Wars Story and I’ll be there opening night so my opinion admittedly needs to be taken with a grain of salt.
As long as it's a well produced HBO or Netflix style mini series type deal and cheesy ass one that would air on ABC family. I'd be very surprised if it was the latter though.
I remember someone saying in the Rogue One thread how good that movie, with all the different characters and settings, would have been as a 6-8 episode mini series instead and I can't get that out of my head. I enjoy Rogue One, but I feel like that could have been so much better.
I Joonas as Chewie. They’re doing pick up shots right now, that’s why he has the black around his eyes.
Trailers are all bullshit for any movie, I have no idea how good this movie might be even if I wish Lord and Miller made their Solo movie, and Alden was so perfect in Hail, Caesar and so blandly adequate in Rules Don’t Apply that I’m sure he’ll be fine in this, but the teaser was watched near me and when I heard his dialogue without seeing the screen I thought he was Tommy Wiseau.
Some guy that read the book said that it matched the trailer. But most SW fanatics talk a logical game that Disney wont use EU stuff to supplement its entries in the franchise. Whos to say? Not me.
Kind of weird that Donald didn't get a single line, I was really curious to hear how far he would go with the Billy Dee impression I'm sure it's obvious but like 95% of the reason I'm looking forward to this is because of him
