How prominately is Kenobi featured in Rebels?

Like what did he even do besides sit on Tattoine between trilogies? I guess maybe alot.

 

That's my only issue with a Kenobi movie - isn't the whole point that he was supposed to be sitting around Tattooine doing nothing, just keeping an eye on Luke? Maybe if something happens to him, like someone in the Empire discovers he's still alive and hunts hm down... idk

 

My hope is they delve into his training to be a Force Ghost. Doesn’t sound fun, but that could be an underlying internal struggle for him while whatever story they put around him. Like he learns how to achieve that connection to the force because of the events of the movie.

 

Just one episode I think and a couple cameos of the Jedi holocron he made after Order 66.

 

A movie about old Kenobis voyeurism of young Luke. A spiritual successor to Rear Window.

 

A film with Kenobi in a cave that contains no meaningful dialogue whatsoever.

 

and it ends when a kid and his droids drive by in a landspeeder, and the he says the first and last word of the whole film, "Finally..." and then puts out the fire he is sitting next to in his cave.

Once again everyone should check out the book Kenobi. It deals with him, the tuskin raiders and the Hutt clan. It's really great and makes the most sense as to what a Kenobi movie would be about.

I guess we’ll probably see some Boba Fett as well as Han during his imperial days. I’m excited to (hopefully) hear the new Han theme. I know trailers usually have specific music made for them, but I hope this time they make an exception.

 

I just don’t have any interest in a non canon book at this point. I’m behind on books/tv shows/movies/podcasts as it is. When it comes to SW books, if it’s not canon, I don’t have time to read it.

I wasn’t saying people should follow my lead. That’s just where I’m at right now. Canon interests me. I like when what I read fits into what I already know. If I’m going to dedicate precious time for a book, I want it to be that in the context of Star Wars.

 

I get it. I'm just saying again that its the story that would make most sense with a Kenobi movie unless they go pre episode 1 or after episode 1 with him training Anakin.

 

Today’s the day! Some new toys from the film have leaked of course ha. If you’re curious they are posted at r/Starwarsleaks. You can see a location that looks familiar... I think if you want fan service this movie will prob have it ha. Also, looks like there will be Chewie with Porgs operation? Ha.
Hopefully in the new trailer we also see some of the new troopers that are rumored.

I was thinking the same thing, so excited to see him! If they release a Black Series figure of Lando, I’m totally picking one up. I also really dig the yellow theme, it’s a little different but cool.
