Just finished my first listen and this is much better than the last one. Very fun album! It is as good an album as I could have expected from modern Social D at their age, which I mean as a compliment.

This is pretty much exactly what I wanted and could reasonably expect out of these guys this late into their career. Very good record and a very easy listen. I expect this will get lots of spins this summer

Agreed with all the positive early reviews. A very welcome return to form and some very catchy shit. Mike sounds awesome and the production is 10/10. Don’t know how much happier I could be with an effort at this stage of their career.

    Fantastic return.

"Crazy Dreamer" feels a little out of place.; perhaps better suited for Mike's solo catalogue. But other than that, I love every song. The guitar work is exceptional, as is the production. Real stripped down, rock 'n' roll sound.

Mike claims a follow-up is already recorded and will be out sooner rather than later.

I know their history and Wiki calls them “punk rock” but I can’t box them into that. It’s rock and roll, Americana, almost bluesy at times, rockabilly/cowpunk, whatever label you want. It just rules.

Early favorites: No Way Out, Tonight, Don’t Keep Me Hangin’ On and (against all odds) Wicked Game solely for Mike’s fucking killer falsetto in the chorus.

Crazy Dreamer is the only one I’m not super sold on, the rest of the album really works for me.

I can only wish to look anywhere near to the way Mike Ness looks at his age lol. My man is just classy af.

Tonight, Partners in Crime and Wicked Game cover are my favorite.

beautiful sound, amazing artwork and no single bad song.

Getting sober young will probably help with that.

Thanks, I’ve been sober my whole life, taking care of myself, pretty much zero stress and I’m very happy with my appearance but damn…Mike Ness is just different breed.
