If you're planning on just doing a single show, I'd get the ticket soon. I'm not sure how many they set aside for single show tickets, but since the venues are so small, I bet it's not a lot.

The after parties are free this year and at the bar and grill. You have to attend the show at the ballpark to get admittance to them. Special DJ sets from some bands playing.
Just FYI, if you buy a single ticket show for Friday, all the shows are subject to capacity. So show up early and make sure you get in!
Ashton Irwin from 5 seconds of summer showed up at the Friday night boys set last night. Made for an interesting set.
If y'all get in early on Sunday, try and catch Gold Steps who won a local contest to play. They are a pop-punk band out of Austin and though they sound fairly standard at first glance, Liz, their vocalist, is incredible, and the songs are stupid catchy. (Think FYS) I have some opinions on mike / third string from years of being a part of that scene, but it does make me happy to see something that was once a local point of pride doing so well. I'll keep pushing for bands like Attila / Ronnie radke projects to be off of lineups like this, but happy to see a local scene pack deep ellum like they did last night.

My friend at the show told me that a handful of bands slated for 10 year spots didn't actually get to completely finish their full album playthroughs. Also mentioned that We the Kings went on about 40 minutes late and pushed everything back.
I think when the Knuckle Puck lead singer fell off stage and hurt himself it took a lot of time off the sets...
And then FTSK took quite a bit of time getting set up too. Overall it was a fun show though. Wish We the Kings had stuck to their first album, but seeing Mayday Parade play through all of ALIR was honestly incredible.
