After seeing Parasite like a month ago and loving it, been going back through his other films as well. Started with Okja which was something the fuck else, but I loved it. Watched this one like a week or two ago and it felt kinda clunky. Gonna read the graphic novel at some point cause I feel like this would work much better in a reading format.

 

I don't see it mentioned a lot, but The Host is great too. Maybe #2 to Parasite, imo.

 

Okja is underrated

Mother is his masterpiece

 

Real ones recommend Memories of Murder

 

still somehow haven’t watched this yet

 

I saw it again in class like two years ago and it holds up really well. He's just so good at bouncing around genres. It's a detailed, bleak crime mystery but also has incredible physical humour?? It's so fun to watch him play around.

 

I like Mother but didn't love it. I haven't seen Memories of Murder in like a decade and can't even remember it, I should rewatch it.

For some reason I still haven't seen The Host.

 

Memories of Murder was his best until Parasite. Mother rounds out the Top 3.

I feel like I'll like it more, ha. I liked Okja and Snowpiercer more than Mother.

 

didn't see okja, evidently that's his worst?

 

I would put Okja in top 3 lol

But I haven’t seen Mother or The Host since I was a baby cinephile

 

Mother's the only one I haven't seen. Need to change that, but The Host and Parasite are neck and neck for my favorite.

 

Love the pairing of those titles in this sentence.

 

I like everything I've seen by him but honestly Parasite is next level. Easily his best.
