I feel surprised and wouldn't have expected that from her but also I need to stop putting people on pedestals. Weird and shitty.

 

I think it’s okay to put people on pedestals, meaning it’s okay to think people are good natured and not shitty in any ways. It’s okay to think (or hope) someone would never do something wrong. Because honestly? I’m surprised too and wouldn’t have expected it either.

 

Yeah, I mean I guess it's kind of natural when you admire someone but also not exactly healthy. You set yourself up for disappointment. Regardless, looks like she deleted it and I hope some of the comments are giving her perspective. Who knows

You can definitely have a problem with the commodification of queerness and not take it our on queer people, what is she talking about

 

I don't even know where to begin with this.

 

I’m sure she’s bored and frustrated from having to cancel her tour and go on vocal rest but I have no idea what made her think those comments were acceptable. Very stupid decision making.

 

My first thought as well. If you feel misunderstood and want to clarify go for it, but being hostile isn’t a good look. What she said also doesn’t address the comments she made.
