also grabbed the merlot. Song is so good too. Love the fast/slow dynamic between the chorus and verses. Her voice is sounding better than ever too.

 

This is probably her best song imo.

Yeahhhhh this song goes, that chorus is just so good. Perfect timing for a new record, I always listen to Lush in the fall. Was fortunate enough to snag the pink glass variant for top spotify listeners.

Man idk if it’s just me but I feel like it’s been and will continue to be a really great year for indie rock releases. Between this, Japanese Breakfast, Julien Baker, Lucy Dacus, Jade Bird, Illuminati Hotties, Lala Lala, Bad Bad Hats, Courtney Barnett, and Big Thief (if they drop this year). And that’s just the “bigger” name acts too.

 

Add the new album from Mini Trees coming out this Friday to that list too!

 

Big Thief are almost certainly not dropping this year.

 

I'd be shocked if we didn't at least get an announcement from them

 

Why do you think that?

 

Finally listened to the single. First time through I thought it was fine, second time I’m feeling it in a big way. So good to know this album is officially coming.

 

Just a hunch, feel like that European tour early next year is around a new record.
