Idk I’m older than her and I never heard of Pedro the Lion until @Kennedy mentioned them like 2 months ago

 

I wish I liked this more. I enjoy it but a lot of the songs blend together for me.

Pedro has cross genre appeal. I heard of them first via slowcore (though I didn't listen to that at the time) and Carissa's Wierd iirc, but have come across them in the manner you described as well. I know lots of people who found out about him through religious questioning even. a lot of the crop of current up and coming indie bands take a lot from him even if it's just by osmosis and not actually bc he's a direct influence is all

First, I don't think Casey sucks. I just felt uncomfortable with a statement he made, so I shared my feelings. He responded with an explanation that clarified his position so it's all copacetic.

Second, I responded to his post as a Pedro/Bazan fan, not as a Snail Mail fan.
