One of the funniest new shows in a while. Pure madness

 

This is funny

 

Really like this show, reminds me a lot of old 2000’s AS and Flash cartoons.

 

Started this finally last night and watched the first two episodes.

 

The first episode is one of my all time favorites at this point. So disturbing and funny.

 

Yeah, I was definitely not expecting that image of a guy with a gun to his head. was amused how he kept it there the whole time, just ready at a moment's notice to end it.

 

I generally can’t explain it but like this show has me hooked. I know it’s pretty simple to binge all the episodes but now I’m wanting to re-Watch them all and so many moments from the show are just etched in my mind. It’s crazy.

 

And also how his first line when they enter is bedroom is an extremely casual “Hello” lol

 

It’s hard to think of another comedy where the straight man character consistenty steals the show. Charlie’s whole thing is being grounded and pointing out how absurd any given thing is, which normally would get tired with me pretty quickly, eg “yes it’s funny when Pim screams that he loves kids or fondly remembers kissing his dad on the mouth, that’s the joke, you don’t need to constantly point it out for us.”

But something about his goofy design and voice actor’s tone of speech makes every one of his lines land so hard and be the standout moments from most episodes. Like when he punches Jeremy and very firmly goes “Dude I *warned* you” before calmly walks away with an annoyed look

 

Charlie becoming more and more exhausted and genuinely upset with the chaos around them is a great running bit in season 2

 

I can’t remember where I saw it but someone basically described the show as actual conversations they could see happening in extremely random scenarios. It just made me love it more. The brothers episode is 100% a argument me and my brother have recently had so I was like damn that’s real outside of the creating life and evil scientist part lmao.

 

This show is cracked lol

 

this latest episode was probably one of my favorites of the whole series sad the season is over but what a way to end it
