unfortunately the Machina remaster is very good lol, it's mindblowing how good the M2 songs sound I will take a Zwan reissue over Zeitgeist any day too
there are, including As Rome Burns and Gossamer which are outstanding, but I assume the main reason is that it's never been on streaming?
American Gothic is great, I like those songs more than a lot of Zetgeist. the acoustic stuff Corgan was writing around that time like 99 Floors was superb
ok, I get that, but for me it's sort of a different category then from Zwan and its 60 unheard songs or Machina......I mean if you want Zeitgeist bad enough you can snag it on used CD or whatever, right? I agree with the base point that it should be on streaming and how annoying that is but I'm most interested in unheard and unreleased songs from these eras personally
Yeah I like American Gothic and there are some live songs that float around from that era, what's it called? I think that's where Gossamer and As Rome Burns come from, there is an EP or something, can't remember the name but he had some songs from that time period that are good
if a theoretical Zeitgeist reissue had finished studio songs like those I would be very interested in that as well
I get what you’re saying. I’m just saying the main reason people want it reissued is because it would make it available on all platforms.
Zeitgeist would be interesting to hear a full remix of. One of the worst mixed albums I can think of. It doesn’t have the best songs overall, but there’s room for it to be elevated to something better than it is. Except Tarantula, that songs already perfect. Excited for Zwan but would much rather 1 big CD box than 3 zuzu vinyl exclusives. As would I imagine 98% of the fanbase.
Unreleased stuff sure, but that album suffers from terrible mixing more so than any other album in their catalog. So I would love to hear a remastered version. I just watched the Tarantula music video on youtube and I can't believe how loud that guitar solo bleeds into the bridge.
I just want it on streaming so that all their work is on streaming. I could just download it off Soulseek, but that's not the point.
