Its a Siamese Dream kind of Friday.

    hmmm

Not exactly an original take but it really is one of the best sounding rock albums ever. The guitar sounds, the warm vocal production. So damn good.

Geek USA is my dad's favorite Smashing Pumpkins song. He got some cool points for that.

Basically have this thought every time I listen to the album. How can a sound be so heavy but also so light and calming at the same time? It’s wild.

It's the best album of all time for a reason. And the reason is all the reasons.

I go through at least one Smashing Pumpkins phase a year. Glad their first few albums have so many b-sides so I can find something new to love each time!

I downloaded Zeitgeist yesterday. Never realized it wasn't on streaming. What an era that was too. I'm feeling like I'm re-discovering the album.

The guitar work on it is incredible. The whole album is actually pretty fitting that time period too.

At this point, Zeitgeist was their last good album.

I have a vocal remix version of the album if anyone is interested. Found a link and it’s a game changer. The vocals are better mixed, imo.

I’ll give it another go around but it did it keep my attention this last time around.

Zeitgeist and Oceania are both good albums, although I honestly like Zeitgeist a little bit more.

An inconsequential shift as the continents drift.

I like Oceania because it doesn't hurt my ears listening to it with headphones

still think an album of their 2008/9 era stuff would crush anything else from the reunion though. Superchrist, GLOW, 99 Floors, As Rome Burns, Gossamer etc. some absolute classics in there they should have recorded

Did anyone ever talk about how much of a banger this song is? This is miles better than any of the reunion shit the past 5 years or whatever.

Machina is a great record but the production/mixing job on that record is unforgivable

Let’s be real though. The last pumpkins record with a good mix was Mellon Collie.

these days it's easily the pumpkins record I treasure the most partly cause it's so fucking well produced, peak late 90s pristine studio sound
