They played that last time I saw them, so good. Definitely one of my fav SP songs. Looking back at the setlists I've seen over the years they've all been pretty great sets(and SP were incredible each time). The Smashing Pumpkins Setlist at O2 Academy, Birmingham The Smashing Pumpkins Setlist at Reading Festival 2007 The Smashing Pumpkins Setlist at Wembley Arena, London That Wembley one was the first gig I ever went to & what a gig it was.
These are the setlists for the 2 times I saw them. I think I got really lucky for the Beacon Theatre show: The Smashing Pumpkins Setlist at Beacon Theatre, New York The Smashing Pumpkins Setlist at Nikon at Jones Beach Theater, Wantagh
Both those sets a great, honestly with this band I'd be happy with whatever set they play as last long as it spans a load of their albums. I love pretty much their whole back catalogue.
MAN! That's rad! I need to find all the sets that i've seen them play. that Set in Birmingham is killer also. I have one of the recordings they allowed you to buy through SP.com and the arrangement of Silverfuck and Thru The Eyes Of ruby was so killer on that tour.
Yeah, same here. They are one of those bands that you kinda just have to let me do what they are wanting to do, ya know?
This is a really cool website to find setlists. so here are all the SP shows ive been too. Orem, UT. @ UVU Zeitgeist Tour w/ The bravery The Smashing Pumpkins Setlist at McKay Events Center, Orem Salt Lake City, UT. @In The Venue The Smashing Pumpkins Setlist at In The Venue, Salt Lake City Houston TX, @ Verizon Wireless Theater. W/ Jimmy Eat World The Smashing Pumpkins Setlist at Verizon Wireless Theater, Houston San Diego, CA. @ Viejas Areana w/ My Chemical Romance, Bad Religion, And Jimmy Eat World The Smashing Pumpkins Setlist at 91X Wrex the Halls 2010 Salt Lake City, UT. @ Kingsbury Hall w/ Lix Phair The Smashing Pumpkins Setlist at Kingsbury Hall, Salt Lake City
There's some great sets there, I'm jealous of how many times you've seen them play Drown, I love that song so much.
oh man. that song is the coolest thing live. I love how the rearrange their songs for every tour. I think my favorite one was on the zeitgeist tour. such a killer light show.
Yeah they brought that light show to reading festival over here in the uk for that tour, it was incredible. I managed to get to the front for that set (and stayed their for nine inch nails), 2 of my favourite bands one after the other I was in my element.
DAMN! I love NIN. so stoked on the new Ep they just put out. I haven't seen them still. I need to see the wrath of Trent Reznor1
Oh you definitely should. NIN are the best band I've seen live (and I've seen a lot of bands over the years). Everytime they've been incredible and they know how to put on such a great show. I also got to meet Trent at an aftershow party once (on the With Teeth tour) and he was such a nice guy.
Only seen SP once, but the fact I got Ruby, Mayonaise and the hits from SD through Machina was incredible for me. And with Jimmy drumming too! The Smashing Pumpkins Setlist at FirstMerit Bank Pavilion at Northerly Island, Chicago
Wow you got one of the rare shows from that tour where they came back and did Today as an encore. For my show they left after United States.
Yeah that tour was a toss up. Sometimes no encore, sometimes Today, and a few lucky cities got Geek USA. I believe Toronto got both
https://consequenceofsound.net/2017...um-ogilala-plus-tour-dates/?wasp=facebook-ads New Billy solo album, produced by Rick Rubin. New single is in the article, and it's a really good piano ballad. Happy to see the Spaniards on the tracklist too.
Pretty goddamned stoked on this. Wish he was touring to SLC. Also....I'd love a new pumpkins record/tour right about now
I'll forever be stoked to hear new music from whatever Billy does so this is awesome news, saying that I'd much rather new SP. I stuck on The Future Embrace the other week and while it's obviously not his best work I thought that it still holds up pretty well, To Love Somebody and Walking Shade.
