OH SHIT WAIT!. Just posted on Facebook: The Smashing Pumpkins "Shiny And Oh So Bright” Tour- Billy Corgan, James Iha, Jeff Schroeder, and Jimmy Chamberlin celebrating songs from their first 5 albums: Gish, Siamese Dream, Mellon Collie and the Infinite Sadness, Adore, and Machina.
Ok so now its time for me to make my dream setlist for this hahaha Aside from the hits, I really wanna hear Rhinoceros, This Time, Try Try Try, For Martha, JellyBelly, Muzzle, XYU, Luna, Geek USA and Drown.
I know, I was really hoping for a weekend. I guess I’ll get shit faced on a Monday and ruin my whole week.
Stoked for you guys and so happy it’s not just SD I’m full as they have far too many great songs across their other albums. Hopefully some world tour dates will follow for the end of the year.
It looks like they left the schedule open to possibly add a 2nd date in big cities like NYC, LA & Chicago.
August 8 in Toronto for me! It will feel almost like an End Times Tour 2.0 as that day for me was Aug.4. I am going to watch that video non-stop until tix go on sale.
Does it bother anyone else knowing that this show is going to be produced where each track is timed down to the minute? It's not a deal breaker or anything, but I don't know I just keep thinking about it for some reason haha.
i just noticed along with Zeitgeist, Machina II is off spotify. what is billy just removing albums he's not a fan of?
some reason i always thought it was known he didnt like Zeitgeist but I don't know where that came from.
ah gotcha my bad. I don't think I've ever gone to listen to it since I've had Spotify (was an Rdio user). Just assumed.
I've never been able to get fully into it because the only version thats out there to download is super poor quality. I keep hoping that the Machina re-release happens soon and it comes with a remastered version of II.
Neither of those albums have been on Spotify for as long as I can remember and I’ve had Spotify for a long time.
