Daphne Descends is such a tune. Been really into Adore lately.

 

that's a good one. I love the way that Adore translated live. Some of the arrangements were so amazing.

 

Agreed. Tear is a mid-to-low tier Adore song for me but seeing them play it live is something else.

 

This might be sacrilege to some but Adore is my least favourite album by SP from pre their split in 00. I do like it but I like the rest of those albums in that time period much more. I do agree some of the adore songs are great live though.

 

It's a bit out there, for sure! I was telling my guitar player the other day about how Adore was one of those left turn records for SP. I didn't like it until I started watching videos of them playing the whole record live with the huge band.

OMG I would die.
This might be the first tour since the Blink 2009 reunion tour that I hit up multiple dates/cities.

 

I'm right there with ya. Siamese Dream is my favourite album of all time. Do you think this could be It?! I really do. I think it's too early for anything else besides also announcing the lineup and that they wrapped up studio time with an upcoming release.

 

I really think (hope) it's a summer tour announcement. I just can't see them doing Siamese Dream in full....Billy has always been vocal about how he hates those anniversary tours.

Oh, I know, but I really think he could be partial to it now for many reasons. Time will tell!

Still skeptical about anything until we hear official news. D'arcy is kinda, you know, crazy.

 

Smashing Pumpkins are one of my all time favorite bands. I'm pumped that Jimmy is back. I'm pumped that James is back......I honestly couldn't care less about D'Arcy.

 

Man...this gives me a headache.
Yeah, WTF? They're recording just a single? Didn't he say they've got like 20+ songs in the pocket?
