Silvery sometimes is fucking amazing

 

I’m very tempted to preorder this solely on how good Silvery Sometimes is.

 

Ok upon my third listen of Silvery Sometimes- I’m definitely going to pre-order this in a few weeks.

Doesn’t look like the violet variant is limited and this doesn’t come out for another two months.... so yeah.

 

“Silvery Sometimes” is so damn good.

 

Has Billy learned how to mix a record so that his vocals aren’t significantly louder than the music?

 

YESSSS! So good! I am so mad I missed out on this band for much of my teenage years and really only truly listened recently. From Gish to Machina is just some amazing stuff.

 

I am psyched.

 

The way he sings “kingdoms of my kingdom come” gives me all kinds of chills.

My first thought was "Silvery Sometimes" sounds like a Silversun Pickups song.

 

I'm enjoying Knights of Malta.

COS just posted their review of the album, gave it a B. Sounds like Solora is the low point of the album, so that has me optimistic.

 

You got it backwards my dude. Silversun Pickups are heavily influenced by Smashing Pumpkins and their sound shows it. Silvery Sometimes is very classic SP.

 

Hence the facepalm.

 

I absolutely love when that backup choir kicks in. Fuck the negative comments on their Facebook, this song is great.

I can't believe this is coming on Friday, I almost forgot I preordered that clear vinyl.
