Only listened to "Slomo" so far. And loved it.

 

This is super good. I need to spend more time with it but it's hard w/ everything else I'm obsessing over atm

 

I could listen to Falling Ashes for days on end.

Awesome album. To me 'Sugar For the Pill" is an instant classic, possibly the best song Slowdive has ever done and that's enormous praise considering Alison, 40 Days, When the Sun Hits. There is an ethereal beauty that permeates the album from beginning to end and I just can't get enough of it.

10/10, A+.

P.S. I hope the next album is the logical successor to Pygmalion with lots of loops and abstract phrasing.

 

The guitar in 'Falling Ashes' reminds me a bit of Mogwai's contributions in the Clint Mansell soundtrack to "The Fountain".

 

Man I love this.

No kidding. Neil Halstead of one of the great guitarists of the last 25 years and nobody knows it.

 

Just listened and this was spectacular on first listen. Excited to get to know this album

 

This and Alex G are practically all I've been listening to this month (which is saying a lot considering how many great records were released this month)

 

star roving is the best guitar riff of the century

 

I would vote "Plug In Baby".

 

I think Star Roving is my favorite track of theirs
