Yup, sounds like Slipknot

 

The chorus caught me off guard a bit, it's catchy in a Stone Sour sort of way (not bad, just different)

Classic Slipknot sound with some new tweaks, I like

Yep. Slipknot. I like it. Does feel even more so classic-ish. Stone Sour chorus is an accurate take away. Glad we get to look forward to more from them.

The breakdown in Chapeltown Rag is one of my favourite Slipknot bits ever. The actual ending is a bit weak but I think they didn't just want to do the same thing as Unsainted/All Out Life again, and in that sense I can understand it anyway.

Also, re-listened to WANYK - still slaps - really hope Solway Firth stays in the setlist - absolute banger.

 

New album this year according to Corey
