Out of curiosity I listened to it. It lasts just over two minutes and it's fine. You can sort of hear some Clown percussion in the background, I guess.
https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.ke...ands-on-what-we-did-with-we-are-not-your-kind I’m visiting Des Moines for the first time this weekend and had to pick up WANYK on vinyl from a local shop.
I've been a huge Slipknot fan since 15years but the last two albums have been dissapointing*. I have been analysing on why i started to feel let down by their music.(bewere english is my second language.) First of, their image change from being the bullied fat kids that hated life to being a band that strived for art. Second, Corey and Clow are the leaders of the band and they are leading Slipknot to something thats not Slipknot in 99 and early 2000.(my hypothesis) Third. Listen carefully on the difference between Iowa and Grey . Joey are way more agile on the drumms then whineberg*(may miss spell). While Joey is the most Jazzed out metal drummer he makes the music feel more agressive and alive. Whineberg is playing more like a fast AC/DC drummer the bests almost never change.. Forth. Paul died , saddest news i got at a 16y old . Before his death they were talking alot about not continuing as a band and that would probably be the best choise. Althou they have gained alot of new fans. Maybe I'm just a boomer now and can't cope with "The New Shit" but i started to lose faith in Slipknot after they've kicked Joey and played music for something they didn't stan for in early 2000.
Yeah hard agree, WANYK is the best thing they've done since the early 2000's and it isn't even close. I do think The Gray Chapter gets an unfair amount of flak but it doesn't come close still.
And they destroyed Tinley. Definitely one of the best sounding shows I’ve seen in that terrible venue.
