have never really listened to them but sure, i’ll go see them in a field in june and get my back broken
Oh, Saturday's show was phenomenal. The setlist was excellent, though they ignored The Gray Chapter. Starting the show with Unsainted, Disasterpiece... and Eeyore? I thought I was gonna die for a minute. Sid Wilson's goofy stage presence, Corey's vocals and banter, Alessandro's flamethrower on his bass (!), Tortilla Man's energy, I could go on and on but it's amazing they're still able to do it this far into their career. Getting to see my older brother headbang for the first time in a decade was such a *chief's kiss* moment too. Behemoth blew me away, and I'm looking forward to dive into their discography.
Check out “House of Gold and Bones” Pts. 1 & 2, those are easily the best Stone Sour albums imo. They generally have some pretty good songs each album, but I think those two are their only truly great albums front to back.
Stone Sour are inconsistent but both House Of Gold And Bones albums, Audio Secrecy (especially the bonus tracks), and Come Whatever May are great. The others are forgettable. I appreciate the strong Alice In Chains / 90's alt rock influences at times.
