I'm not a huge fan of Sleigh Bells, but Alexis Krauss went to my high school and I freelance for a local magazine, so I'll be seeing them in Asbury Park on Sept. 10. Should be fun.

Their live show is pretty fucking fun, regardless if you like the music or not. It's gonna be loud and crazy, have fun

Yeah, and if you live in this area you might also know the band Holme. They're like a bar band/cover band but her dad is in it.

Yeah, I mean, I do enjoy the music and I do listen to it, I'm just not into it enough to buy it.

Sounds like someone I've probably seen at Boathouse. lol

Yeah, they were pretty big in the '70/'80s (or so my parents tell me). They were like the house band at the Pony for a while but now they do Boathouse and Bar A and stuff like that. I grew up in Brielle but I just signed a lease for a place in Ocean Grove. Did you grow up around here?

I'm from Howell, but live in North Jersey now. Do you have family that went to Freehold? I've run across a few Conte's in my day. lol

And another one that people can't just reply "sounds like sleigh bells" like they usually do.
