Yes, correct, it does go to the webstore. That said, depending on which image you clicked first will trigger a follow-up email a little bit later. Mine was kind of quick but I’ve read others taking a bit. Assuming this will be an interactive album or single rollout.

I did dive into the password or “code” that you needed to plug into to get the initial email. It’s a reference to the Shugborough Inscription, which is a cool little rabbit hole/mystery (if anyone cares).

 

I am still begging whoever for an instrumental TMBTE before this new album.

 

Sometimes FB throws posts at me totally unrelated to what I use it for (yes I still get on there occasionally) and a Sleep Token fan group post pops up talking about something related to Charlie Simpson and Sleep Token? Like, a new band or something?

only slightly related, but given their overlap with Fightstar (i.e. sharing several members), i'm now realizing how well a GUNSHIP and Sleep Token collaboration would work

 

Why are people assuming this has something to do with Charlie? Obviously I'd be down for anything new Charlie related.

so other than the photographer and the masked element, what connection does this have to Sleep Token?

 

I legitimately have no idea, other than potentially the mystery around it had ST fans thinking it had something to do with them? ST fans are the ones digging all this up (something they are used to), but other than that I got nothing.

 

yeah, it felt like Swiftie-level delusion seeing others try to connect the two as linked projects.

I'd love a new heavy Charlie project but I can't see anything being better than Fightstar. Plus it seemed like he had a lot of Busted plans for the year so it'll be interesting to see what this turns out to be.

 

Honestly, is Charlie Simpson "big" enough to use Download Festival as a promotional tool for a new project? Didn't Busted only perform on the Avalanche Stage last year? I've got my doubts it's Charlie related.

just found out that Charlie Simpson won the Masked Singer in 2023 lmfao

 

I tried to find a way to bet on that. I could have made some real money.

 

I would argue Busted performing on the Avalanche stage last year lends credence to the theory, he clearly has an "in".
