this record is so good. reach out and hurry on home are so damn good. def a departure in sound but it still sounds like them, it’s great.

  3. I'm really into this so far. I didn't really return to No Cities To Love as much as I expected despite it being my gateway into Sleater-Kinney, but I can already guess I'll be replaying this one a lot. I always wondered what would come out if they toned down the loudness and the abrasiveness a little bit, to focus more on atmosphere. I'm just happy they chose to expand their sound and change it up dynamic wise this far into their career.

Attempting to get into this band. Dig Me Out is some really good shit. I think I’m gonna hit The Woods next, then this record, then go back and play catch up with the rest.

  18. on that note, "The Center Won't Hold" into "Hurry On Home" to open the show was transcendent. also, "Bad Dance" and "Can I Go On" were so much fun. these songs really shine live (and on record, for that matter)

It bums me out that this didn’t make more of a wave. It’s a really incredible record; just as good as The Woods IMHO
