  12. got an advance stream of this — gotta say, i think it really rules. it fully reclaims the urgency i think they elided on the last record, and the songs feel tighter and more refined overall than they were on the last two records. it's fun, it's loud, it's got a lot of really sick guitars imo. i'm thrilled

I think “Say It Like You Mean It” is a really great song. This is the most interested I’ve been in their work in a while.

enjoyed it so much that i grabbed the Newbury comics vinyl variant (autographed too so that's a plus).

  17. I don't think it beats No Cities to Love but that's a very high bar. I think I'll be listening to this a lot. "Don't Feel Right" and "Dress Yourself" have some of their hardest-hitting lyrics since The Woods for sure. "Hunt You Down" is a fucking blast. I just think this rules

    Die rad.

Sorry for the 2 month bump, but this album has had some lasting value thus far for me. Really still enjoying it. May be my second favorite of theirs. The Woods will always be my favorite though. No skips album still almost 20 years later.

i’ve been meaning to tell you

saw them last night, the new songs sounded great live! they still rocked all the old stuff too, all the woods tracks really popped off.

Anyone else grab the limited edition 7" for record store day? Was the first thing in my hands when I got into the store. Its not ground breaking, but I enjoy it.
