Whether or not I go is currently dependent on if Thursday do any off dates tbh

I’m so glad Thursday have been announced. I will not be missing ETID either. They were phenomenal in Glasgow last year.

Yeah I love ETID too, I've just seen them live more times and way more recently than Thursday. So Thursday is currently the biggest incentive for me to go.

I guess that confirms Can't Swim, Broadside (who I maintain have built a career off of one great song), Woes, and Stand Atlantic (plus Turnover who are supporting JEW) are all playing Slam Dunk.

I'll see Can't Swim, Counterparts and maybe Comeback Kid and Twin Atlantic, but that's it really. I'm going all three dates so who knows though.

Not the best announcement for me. I used to love twin Atlantic. Don’t really listen to them much now. Will see comeback kid if they don’t clash with anyone. Will check out can’t swim too. Definitely seeing counterparts though.

At least there's Comeback Kid. They were great at the festival in 2015

Last announcement wasn’t great so I expect this won’t be spectacular. Hoping for atleast one band to get excited for though

I can never work out what's realistic with this festival. Like if you'd told me 3 years ago that Against Me! would play I would have laughed at you lol. Same with Bane in 2015 and some others over the years

We are extremely pleased to announce, the worldwide exclusive reunion of our old friends The Audition! They last played the festival way back in 2012, splitting up shortly after but the reunion is on…just for you!! The original lineup, including Seth who left the band before the split, will be performing at #SDF18!

We're also happy to announce the kings of ska Reel Big Fish, plus the absolute legend John Feldman with the ska infused pop punk soundtrack to our scene, Goldfinger.

Rounding things off nicely on this short announcement, we have current UK Pop Punk heroes ROAM! That’s it for now, but more to be announced soon!

With thanks to our partners: Jägermeister, Fireball UK & Impericon.co.uk

The Audition is an excellent add. Underrated band.

The rest are solid, but not surprising.

I’m happy with goldfinger. Really like their new album. Not the other bands though.
