also i've been thinking about how 8 years ago Capitol had a major problem with Sky using the unedited cover of NT, MT yet in 2021 they had no problem with Halsey doing pretty much the same thing. wonder if they'd ever backtrack.

Early 2017: Says there's no delay because she never gave release date (which technically is true)
Q2/Q3 2017: Hints at label problems, teases new music that isn't Masochism, says she's too sick to release and promote an album
Q4 2017: Still too sick to release album but wants to release visual EP in early 2018
Summer 2018: EP scrapped
Winter 2018: Single done but no date from label
March 2019: Downhill Lullaby released
All of 2020: Says she's recovering from her health problems and now COVID has derailed her plans to properly promote an album
