Fucking label just let her release what she wants to release

 

It's such a weird situation. Why would they not just let her release her music?

 

I don't want to be a dick, but I have a hard time believing 0% is on her

 

I think Capitol is definitely to blame quite a bit here, but also she told multiple publications last year that the album was definitely coming in 2022. That was all her, not the label, so I wouldn’t say it’s ALL the label.

 

as with SZA, I have no trouble believing both a) the label makes things harder and slower than necessary for all kinds of reasons and b) the artist in question is maaaaybe not the easiest to work with

 

Do we think this thread will get to 10 years old before we get an album?

 

If she comes to Chicago, I will definitely go, but does she still have a big enough audience who will come out to these shows with no new album?

 

I'm sure they'll be small venues

 

Yeah probably, I just admire her willingness to go on tour with no one’s album when that’s all people are probably going to be asking her about at these shows haha
