    Truer words never said. However, I think this is the hot cousin of the "former hardcore vocalist starts cold wave solo project" phenomenon. But that's probably just my bias.

    off the top of my head... the vocalist from coliseum started fotocrime, ryan george (vocalist from carry on) started youth code, um... there's more i can't think of. i'll try to get back to you if i think of more. it's a thing. i should have included "industrial" to widen the parameters.
